I have had the ti lite 750 for roughly 10 years and had zero issues. Used it with wood butane and alcohol stoves as well as placing it straight on wood in a large fire to cook with. So naturally when it came time for me to have one to keep in my horse trailers living quarters I got another one but went with the 900 since I would likely be having fancier meals that may be require larger portions. I have no doubt that the 900 will serve me every bit as well a the 750 has. Vargo in my opinion has the best quality cookware. It is thicker and more robust but still being titanium it weights nothing. I have tested toaks and the like and find their thinness unnerving. The lids will burn you and don’t fit well so they are inferior in comparison. I choose vargo.

Super lightweight, seems durable given that fact. I boiled water in it over a stove and in a fire several times - it seems the coating has held up even in direct flame.

The only detractor is the graduation tick marks and 300, 600, and 900mL markings do not seem to coincide in a discernible manner. This doesn't affect me as I carry a stainless mug with accurate graduations, but could be a factor for someone planning to carry only this mug while also needing accurate volume measurements.

I'm very happy with this pot's finish and shape. The flat bottom, smooth finish and large radius makes it easy to clean. It feels strong without too much weight. Please make a 500ml or 600ml version with the same handle and shape that nests inside.

Thanks M L

My wife and I just camped in Arizona over the weekend. We flew down from Chicago with only your mug 900, triad stove and windscreen for boiling water for meals and coffee. I was very pleased with all three products. Here are my comments on all three:

Triad Stove
It worked better than I expected. It did need to be refilled and relit in order to bring the mug filled with cold water to a boil. Filling the stove is a bit tedious, but of course its simplicity more than makes up for that. (I will devise a better / faster way to fill mine.)

Ti-lite Mug 900
I would like it more if the mug rested more securely on the stove. Not much room for error there. “Is it just about to fall off?” A 2 cup mark on the inside would be very convenient. (I will find a way to mark mine.)

Windscreen
It worked well, though I still needed to pile rocks around to block the wind. Maybe a second larger windscreen would be a good idea. (I’ll probably fashion one for the task.) I like the way the wind screen folds up, and it fits nicely into the mug. A necessary accessory when it’s windy. It’s always windy!

Overall, I’m happy with my new stove and mug, but there’s one problem and you need to fix it: The Vargo name is not visible on the pot or the stove. This should be unacceptable to you folks. Your little Triad stove is an awesome design, but as I show it off to fellow campers (don’t we all like to show off our new gear?) your name is not there. Don’t make the mistake of relying solely on your customers to pass along your brand. And don’t think camping enthusiasts who spend the extra dollars for your titanium products wouldn’t mind if there friends knew it.

Thanks, David James
