ALCOHOL FUEL BOTTLE

Does not leak

I have several and have found these unreliable, but perhaps I am simply not exercising enough care. It might help if I used non-flip top caps when traveling. Otherwise, they seem to always find a way to leak, which makes them mostly unusable for me.

I use an alcohol stove made from a fancee feast can and sawn off tomato paste can, and this fuel bottle fits neatly inside so that my cook back is compact and tidy. Bottle is very light but strong and flexible, spout is leakproof and easy to use. Ounce and half ounce marks on the side make it easy to use what you need. Wish I had bought it years ago—turns out using an old water bottle from an airplane was making my pack more awkward and requiring more guesswork in pouring than was worth it. Must have for alcohol stove users!

The volume of fuel is what I was looking to supply my 3-4 day hiking events. Has not leaked any fuel and I am trusting it more than my other light weight fuel storage containers. So far, I am satisfied. Thanks Vargo for bringing this product to the market.

Does what it is supposed to do and completely topped off with HEET, it weighs 7.94 Oz and no leaks....and I squeezed the bottle hard......
