VARGO as a company started by trying to improve upon the material and design of alcohol stoves that existed back in 2002. At the time, most alcohol stoves were made from aluminum soda cans and required a separate pot support. The Triad stove (my very first product idea) was made from titanium and integrated a folding leg pot support. Since then, I’ve designed many new stoves, each driven by the objective of improving the functionality and features of each product.
