Great Customer Service!

I purchased this earlier this year and added it to my Vargo Bot cook kit but hadn't used it. Was getting ready for a weekend overnighter when I checked my kit and one of the small hinge rivets had popped loose and was in the bottom of the kit bag. I contacted Vargo and got an immediate response to try gluing it (seemed to work) back in and if I wasn't satisfied they'd send a new one. I let them know that I'd prefer to have a replacement just to be on the safe side and it was in the mail the same day. No hassle and great backing up of their products. I have had perfect service from all of my other Vargo products so this was just a fluke. Superb customer service. A++++

Great Pot Lifter

Compact, obviously light, and easy to hold/use.

I bought one of these a couple years ago and was very happy with it. It’s used primarily with MSR stainless steel Stowaway cookware, clamps securely around the lip and stores beautifully inside.

I saw some ‘professional reviews’ that decided that the Vargo was flimsy and overpriced …. so I bought their top pick just out of curiosity. What a joke! It was big, clunky and a poor fit 🙄

So I bought two more Vargos just in case the thing goes out of production. I actually use the Vargo potholders on a weekly basis and there’s nothing flimsy about them. I really appreciate that there are actually some people that make the time and effort to design things like this.

Already got to try it out and I couldn't be happier. It's easy to pour camping pots with and truly saves my hands from getting singed! Very light too, so I don't feel like it's an added burden.

I was pleased with the quality, weight and function of the pot lifter. Even so, those attributes have a price. I would rate it 5 stars but for the price. Great product if money is no object.

I like it. I don't use anymore my old aluminum one, because of two advantages:
- half the weight
- I have to care less about burning my hand, especially in continuous use. (it conducts less heat, so it gets hot slower).
