the grill is great

In my opinion, the grill is great, especially when you save on weight and space in your "bags", and you don't regret buying it because I only used it 1-2 times a week. I am satisfied with the purchase.

Pros:

The weight of 100+ g is an incredible indicator of all the grills for BBQ known to me
Compactness, like a sheet of paper, a notebook. Thickness 3 cm when folded.
Simplicity and speed are established.
Ease of cleaning.
Durability, titanium material

Cons:

Price, even on salex. Dear. But still a one-time expense for a long time.
Case, 35g kills the concept of a light, ultra-light grid.
Instability and inconvenience of installation already on a ready fire, heat. The exit should be done as I put it on the side, and rake the heat.

Cool grill

Used a number of small grills over 40 years backpacking.
This is a beauty for weight and packing. Agree with most reviews.
I forgot the time involved in this type of cooking but it is a great first day break as mentioned. I also wonder about the connections over the long term.

Light, packable and adds another level to light trips. Usually use this for the first night out and/or post resupply when we may want some steak, pork, chicken or fish but find we use it all the time to heat up water in 700ml and 900ml cups/posts. Have found it best to build out a decent fire and use a stick/rock to clear space in the pit for a good bit of ember (think of a very basic Yakitori grill) and place so that you can scoop out or add addt embers. I seasoned with olive oil a few times before using and if you have a pot holder or tongs, just hang to drip/burn off addt food. The legs require a little extra attention, but this piece is so easy to use and has been reliable in its first few outings. Great way to alleviate a lot of fuel canisters and recommend heating up prior to placing food on the surface. Cleanup has consisted of soaking in light soapy/warm water and using a light bristled scrubber. The only upgrade would be a lockout for the legs (or at least one side) to aid placement and ensure the grill doesn't collapse when fine tuning placement. Appears to be very sturdy for its size/weight but guessing you want to minimize large volumes of food/water. A small foil ball or half of an onion can be used just like a grill at home for addt seasoning and cleaning in the field.

Love the Grill. I have a lot of Vargos Products and it's been the best investment I have made to my loadouts. Great Company, Great Products, I highly recommend them

Grill definitely has that Vargo quality. Storage sleeve is sized perfectly; easy to put grill in and out, but not loose. Steaks cook nicely; just large enough for 2 steaks.
