Really think being made of titanium is the big plus.
Have tried both alcohol and denatured alcohol.
91% alcohol is sooty.
Denatured alcohol burns clean.
Have a beard and mustache.
Make my own grooming wax in natural color.
Its clear when applied correctly.

Just used it once in the USA before long term use in cold and windy Patagonia.
Had to custom make a round platform to safely
place my only slightly bigger pot on the stove.
Took about 20 minutes to get half a liter boiling.

I have two of these - you'll have to accept that they show some dents and dings, but mine are both functioning at 100% despite showing lots of character. The titanium imparts exactly ZERO taste and is completely non-reactive and corrosion-proof. The first one I bought is probably ten years old now and shows no signs that it will ever fail. Great investment.

I'm a stove geek (I like to run with gear head, lol) I have numerous alcohol stoves, many run as backup to debris stoves like firebox, Kelly kettle, Bush Buddy(and the famous solo stove totally ripped off from them). Even Cooler than having an incredibly lightweight alcohol backup to stoves that use free readily available fuel you don't have to buy, store, or carry is having that backup offer double duty as a hexamine backup stove!
I'd read old reviews about the lack of efficiency, bloom time, and excessive amount of alcohol required for operation, and even saw a video from "THE stove guy" who said it fell flat and was a disappointment to him.
Maybe prior version(s) were lacking, but if so they figured it out!

Best outdoor dining solution

sturdy and decently light

A nice addition to my Hexagon Wood Stove. Works better than my old Sterno Inferno did,

I bought these specifically for camping at a rocky site with lots of tree roots where I had previously lost several Groundhogs. These fill that niche perfectly and held my tent just fine in mild wind gusting to roughly 30 to 35 mph. I carry both types of stakes now so that I can be prepared for a variety of conditions.

I live and camp in the Southwest U.S. These stakes are great to penetrate our hard caliche and give good anchoring points for shelter set up. I pound then in with my mini hammer and they are solid. Another great feature is that they're crazy light. Well done, Vargo.
